Description
HP Multifunction Peripheral (MFP) Digital Sending Software (DSS) 4.91.00 does not properly configure authentication settings of managed devices within device templates, which allows attackers to access these devices via actions that were intended to require authentication.

Solution
- At the time of this writing, a patch has not been provided by the vendor. However, a workaround has been provided by the vendor: - Require authentication for all device templates. - For all devices previously configured via device templates, reconfigure the devices with these revised templates.
