CVE-2026-111633
ZKEACMS through 4.4 Authentication Bypass via Hard-Coded JWT Signing Key
Description

ZKEACMS through 4.4 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge REST API JWT bearer tokens using a hard-coded HMAC-SHA256 signing key in JwtBearerDefaults.cs. Attackers can sign a token with the Name claim set to 'admin' to call ApiAuthorize endpoints, modifying articles and products and reading form submissions.

Solution
Address JWT signing key weakness and implement proper access controls.
  • Update application to use a strong, dynamically generated signing key.
  • Implement robust authorization checks on all API endpoints.
  • Review and validate all API request data.
  • Remove hard-coded secrets from code.
CWE - Common Weakness Enumeration

While CVE identifies specific instances of vulnerabilities, CWE categorizes the common flaws or weaknesses that can lead to vulnerabilities. CVE-2026-111633 is associated with the following CWEs:
