CVE-2026-116066
Firecrawl before 2.11.586 SSRF Protection Bypass via DNS Rebinding in Playwright Service
Description

Firecrawl before 2.11.586 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Playwright service SSRF proxy that allows attackers to bypass isInternalHost checks via DNS rebinding. Solution
Update Firecrawl to a version later than 2.11.586 to patch the SSRF vulnerability.
  • Update Firecrawl to version 2.11.587 or later.
  • Implement stricter host validation for DNS resolution.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious outbound connections.
  • Consider disabling the Playwright service if not essential.
